Fotona Laser HAIRestart
Fotona Laser HAIRestart® is a patented, non-ablative laser treatment for hair loss that uses Er:YAG laser to gently heat the scalp, stimulating hair follicle regeneration, increasing blood flow, and increasing density without damaging the skin. It is a safe, pain-free, non-invasive method that yields high patient satisfaction (93% improved in studies) for treating androgenetic alopecia, with no significant adverse effects.
- Non-Surgical: The laser produces mild thermal pulses that stimulate the scalp to produce growth factors, promoting the transition from the dormant (telogen) phase to the growing (anagen) phase
- Non-Ablative Technology: Unlike ablative lasers that remove skin layers, the Er:YAG laser in SMOOTH mode only heats the scalp to trigger healing without creating wounds or requiring downtime.

Treatment Details
Fotona’s HAIRestart® hair growth stimulation is an effective method of treating hair loss disorders.
There is no specific downtime.
Results are incremental with each session showing visible signs of improvement.
A session typically lasts 30minutes, with 6-8 sessions recommended (depending on extent of hair loss), spaced 2 weeks apart.
As with any treatment, results will vary from person to person and the combining laser treatment with PRF injectables can further enhance results.
There are no specific pre-appointment requirements other than ensuring hair is clean and free of any creams / products.
Post treatment avoid any sweat-inducing exercise for at least 24 hours.
