- Treatment Frequency - Based on clinical studies, some clients see results after just one treatment whilst others see exceptional results after a course of five, with each session spaced approximately 2 to 4 weeks apart.

- Treatment protocol - First, your skin will be cleansed. Then, about 60 minutes prior to treatment, a topical anesthetic ointment will be applied to the treatment area. TheFraxel® DUAL 1550/1927 procedure takes 20 to 25 minutes for a full face.
- Minimal downtime -Depending on the area treated, you can expect 3-5 days downtime. Immediately after treatment, your skin will be red which may last a few days and may also experience some swelling. Your skin will peel, which is a sign that the treatment is working. If pigmentation is present, this may darken soon after treatment and last a few days until it flakes away revealing smoother, clearer skin.
- Pain-free / Sensation You may feel a sensation of heat during the treatment and to minimise discomfort, topical anesthesia is applied before the procedure and cold air is used on the treatment area during the procedure. After the treatment, most clients feel like they have a sunburn, which usually diminishes in 1 to 3 hours.
