Professional Skin Cancer Screening at EvaClinic
Skin cancer is one of the most common cancers in the UK, but early detection dramatically improves treatment outcomes.
A mole check appointment is quick, non-invasive and could provide the reassurance you need – or help identify a suspicious lesion early and potentially remove it.
How the Mole Check Process Works:
Step 1 – Consultation & Skin Assessment
Your mole or skin lesion is examined during your appointment.
Step 2 – Dermatoscope Imaging
A detailed dermatoscope image is taken to capture the internal structure of the mole.
Step 3 – Dermatology Review
The image is securely submitted to ‘Map My Mole’ for consultant dermatologist review.
Step 4 – Expert Report
You receive a clinical report within just 24–72 hours advising whether the mole appears benign or if further medical evaluation is recommended.
Step 5 – Eradication
Depending upon the results, I can then completely remove the mole in a single, treatment using a medical -grade laser.
Signs You Should Book a Mole Check:
-
A mole changing size, colour, or shape
-
Irregular or uneven borders
-
A mole that itches, bleeds, or crusts
-
A new mole appearing in adulthood
-
A lesion that looks different from others
If something about a mole concerns you, it is always best to have it assessed – a thorough consultation, mole mapping and assessment takes 30 minutes and costs from £80.
