What Is Fotona4D®Men?

Fotona4D®Men is a non-surgical laser facelift built specifically around the biology of male skin, using the same trusted Fotona SP Dynamis platform behind our Fotona 4D, TwinLight and SmoothEye treatments. Rather than applying standard Fotona 4D settings to every client, Fotona4D®Men uses protocol parameters specifically optimised for men — delivering a fresher, tighter, more natural look without surgery, injectables or downtime.

Why Male Skin Needs a Different Protocol

Male skin is physiologically different from female skin — it’s typically thicker, with larger pores, more facial hair, less subcutaneous fat, and higher sweat and sebum production. Generic aesthetic protocols are usually calibrated for female skin characteristics, which can mean under-treating thicker male skin or missing the mark on what men’s skin actually needs to respond well. Fotona4D®Men adjusts laser parameters specifically for these differences, so the treatment is genuinely tailored rather than a female protocol applied by default — while still preserving facial hair, which many men are (understandably) concerned about.

How Fotona4D®Men Works (The 4-Step Process)

Fotona4D®Men combines Er:YAG and Nd:YAG laser wavelengths across four steps, using three proprietary modes — SMOOTH®, PIANO® and SupErficial™ — to work on the superficial, medial and deeper structures of the skin:

1. Intraoral tightening (SMOOTH® mode) — a gentle, non-ablative treatment delivered from inside the mouth to tighten sagging jowls and the jawline from within.
2. Deep collagen stimulation (PIANO® mode) — a bulk heating effect that stimulates collagen production at a deeper level for firmness and volume.
3. Superficial refinement (SupErficial™ mode) — targets fine lines and surface texture without ablating the skin.
4. Fractional resurfacing — refines overall skin tone and texture, tailored to male skin’s thicker, oilier characteristics.
